Job Description

As a Business Control Administrator, you will provide administration assistance and dedicated support to the Business Control Team.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting the team with the new client onboarding process;
  • Preparing periodic file reviews and risk assessments for existing clients;
  • Assisting the team with the trigger event process;
  • Dealing with client due diligence on a risk-based approach;
  • Reviewing and matching potential screening hits;
  • Assisting the team with client closure requests;
  • Assisting with collation of information for external banking reviews;
  • Liaising directly with clients;
  • Maintenance of departmental control spreadsheets;
  • Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of departmental procedure manuals, policies and associated documentation;
  • Ensuring knowledge of AML/CFT is always up-to-date with recent developments and changes to legislation;
  • Liaising with the administration teams and compliance team;
  • Assisting with the delivery of any change initiatives or projects impacting the business;
  • Any other duties that may be required, from time to time, to support the business.

Reporting To:

Business Control Team

Qualifications Required:

5 GCSEs or equivalent at grade C or above

Experience:

  • At least 2 years in a TCSP environment in a similar role
  • Microsoft Office
  • A working knowledge of CCH, Laserfiche and ViewPoint would be an advantage but not essential

Training:

External and internal training will be provided and encouraged

Skills:

  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Understanding of AML/CFT legislation
  • Able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to work on own initiative & with minimal supervision
  • Organisational skills & ability to prioritise

Hours:

Salary: £27,511 to 29,000 Per Year
