Job Description

Main Responsibilities

As the Compliance Administrator you will support the existing team to ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and legislative requirements, enabling the continued provision of a strong framework of internal controls and best practice guidance. Main duties will include, but are not limited to:

• General compliance administrative duties:

◦ Handling queries from members of staff and providing recommendations and / or guidance

◦ Review of KYC / CDD received for individuals and / or entities connected to client entities (eg, new and existing clients, powers of attorney, beneficiaries, directors)

◦ Screening checks on individuals and / or entities

◦ General internet searches on individuals and / or entities

◦ Confirming KYC / CDD complies with internal policy and procedures and legal/regulatory requirements

◦ Addressing any potential deficiencies with KYC / CDD

• Risk Cycle File Reviews

• FATCA and CRS screening

• PEP screening and enhanced DD activities

• Process and procedure drafting

• Internal audit and monitoring activities

• New Business Screening

• Promote a positive governance and compliance culture at all levels throughout the business

Skills

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Ability to work to tight deadlines

• Knowledge of compliance and regulatory environment

• Working knowledge of offshore trust and corporate structures

• Attention to detail

• Analytical skills

• Planning, problem solving & organisation skills

• An interest and commitment to on-going professional development and training/ already working towards an ICT accreditation

• Excellent discretion, judgment and organisational skills and be able to initiate projects with minimal instigation or oversight.

Package

• Salary banding £24,000-£28,000

• Annual review starting May 2023

• 25 days holiday + bank holidays, rising in increments to 30 days
