Customer Service Administrator

The Customer Service Administrator will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients at a life assurance firm based in the Isle of Man. They will manage a variety of tasks and be a key point of contact for clients, working closely with the sales and underwriting teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, or in-person visits.

  • Process client policy applications, payments, and other transactions.

  • Coordinate with underwriting and sales teams to ensure timely processing of client applications and policy requests.

  • Resolve client complaints and issues in a timely and effective manner.

  • Provide support to the sales team by preparing quotations, producing client reports, and managing client data.

  • Manage and maintain accurate client records and policy information in the company’s database.

  • Assist with the preparation of client communications, including letters and newsletters.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify opportunities to improve processes and customer experience.

  • Provide support for special projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in the financial services industry, preferably in life assurance.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer service orientation.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.

  • Familiarity with life assurance products and terminology is preferred.

  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Working for a life assurance firm in the Isle of Man, the successful candidate must be eligible to work in the UK and hold any necessary work permits or visas.

Salary: £18,000 to 23,000 Per Year
