Our client is a leading sportsbook software provider to gaming operators and is looking to bring a commercial lawyer into its in-house team to support the General Counsel and business. The role would suit a confident self-starter who is not afraid to take initiative and is able to work well independently and with minimal supervision. Your primary responsibilities would involve supporting commercial transactions and developing internal processes with a view to expanding responsibilities over time. The role sits within the Legal function . You will report to the General Counsel based in the UK but shall be working with stakeholders across all departments including sales, compliance and information security.
Job description
Corporate files maintenance.
Support in drafting standard agreements and other legal documentation.
Manage the onboarding process for private clients.
Drafting and preparation of documents. Support in drafting standard agreements and other legal documentation.
Work closely with the General Сouncel, Finance team, Sale team in other offices, to provide full support and visibility
Advise clients on the suitable solutions according to their individual scenarios
Qualifications
Nice to have:
3-5 PQE (post qualification experience) solicitor required – this is a guideline so if you feel that you are suitable, please still apply
Experience of drafting and negotiating commercial contracts within Software / Technology (including SaaS, software, hardware, licensing)-nice to have
Experience and understanding of the AML and GDPR regimes
A demonstrable interest in the gaming industry and strong negotiation skills
Highly organised and efficient
Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
Accountability and responsiveness
Strong relationship building skills and the ability to work across different jurisdictions / cultures
Sense of humour
