The Role
As a mobile test engineer working for our client, you will be involved in testing
complex financial solutions focused on mobile devices. Working within one of our
development squads, you will play a key role in helping to drive excellence in quality
and be responsible for testing of our native mobile applications and payment
providers, both at a UI and Integration level.

Key Tasks:
• Own the UI and API testing efforts within the squad you’re assigned too.
• Effectively understand and translate product and business requirements into
test scripts and scenarios
• Develop and execute tests on new features at UI and API levels on our iOS,
Android and React Mobile Apps
• Raise and triage defects to support squad in quality resolution
• Ensure that deliverables meet functional requirements and design
specifications
• Help identify and write acceptance criteria for user stories
• Write and maintain technical test documentation
• Assist in identifying tests suitable for mobile automation frameworks
• Assist in Identifying areas for improvement in test approach, efficiency, and
tooling
• Promote culture of quality across development and wider teams and help
define overall test strategy
Qualifications/Experience
required:
• Demonstrable commercial experience in manual QA/Testing role
• Experience testing mobile or web apps at UI level
• Experience in testing public facing and third-party REST APIs with tools such as
Postman
• Experience in both functional and non-functional testing
• Sold knowledge of software development life cycle, testing methodologies and QA
processes
• Good understanding of the finance industry and payment systems
