Job description
We are looking for a high-performing, passionate and motivated Sales Director to lead our sales team! The successful candidate will be responsible for designing plans to meet targets, developing relationships with clients/customers, and evaluating costs for selling products and services.
Duties and responsibilities:
Designing and implementing strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
Building and maintaining strong and lasting relationships with customers to grow customer loyalty.
Working with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
Understand industry-specific landscapes and trends.
Assessing costs, competition, and supply and demand to identify selling prices.
Developing and promoting weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales targets.
Drafting detailed and accurate sales reports.
Effectively communicating sales goals and ensuring that C-level executives are informed on the progress of those goals.
Reporting on forces that shift strategic directions of accounts and tactical budgets.
Leading and motivating staff to improve customer service with clients.
Establishing a sales training program to train new sales representatives.
Working closely with other departments to ensure efficiency.
Staying up to date with the latest sales trends and best practices.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a similar role and proved records of successful deals closed.
In-depth knowledge of marketing techniques and best practices.
Capacity to manage various projects and work to tight deadlines.
Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services.
Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success.
Team player with exceptional negotiation and leadership skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good time-management and problem-solving skills.
Native level or professional fluency in verbal and written English. Knowledge of German, Swedish or Dutch would be considered an asset.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a relevant field.
