SENIOR ADMINISTRATOR –
INVESTMENTS
We currently have a permanent position available within our client’s
Investment Management Department for a Senior Administrator.
The successful individual will initially support their Third-Party
Reconciliations team. This team is responsible for the reconciliation of asset
stock and cash positions of client accounts and the clearance of outstanding
items held within a range of Third Party (Discretionary) providers.
The key responsibilities of the role are:
• Reconciliation of asset positions, cash accounts and internal control
accounts in accordance with the control timetable
• Production of month end packs for sign off in accordance with month
end accounting deadlines
• Identification and investigation of outstanding reconciliation items
• Download of daily reports and files
• Identification of process improvements/controls
• Acting as an SME in key stakeholder meetings/change forums
• Authorising Policy Reconciliation sign off
• Oversight/maintenance of team procedure notes.
The successful candidate will have the following knowledge and experience:
• Have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in an investment related role
or five years’ experience in financial services with an interest in
investments
• A strong working knowledge Microsoft Office in particular Excel
• Be educated to A-Level standard, Maths advantageous
• Ability to work to strict deadlines
• Ability to organise own work to meet institution deadlines
• Accuracy, particularly when inputting data
• Have a flexible & adaptable attitude.
