Role: Senior Fund Administrator
Reports to: Fund Manager
Type: Permanent (35-hour week)
Job description
• Collection and review of shareholder Client Due Diligence and review of account opening documentation
• The process of shareholder deals
•Preparation and checking of, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly,Bi Annual and Annual fund valuations
using AcuFund accounting system in accordance with company procedures.
• Review of Investment Advisor trade recommendations to ensure they do not breach the fund’s
Investment restrictions and send instructions to the funds custodian
• Shareholder communications
• Shareholder and fund fee payments using various banking systems
• Client bank account reconciliations
• File and risk reviews of fund shareholders
• Liaising with fund custodians
• Liaising with fund auditors
• Assisting compliance with regulatory requirements
• Assisting with project work as required
• Assisting in other areas, as directed by management
Desired skills and knowledge
• 2 years minimum in Fund experience
• Highly numerate
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work to tight deadlines with attention to detail
• Able to work both individually and as part of a team
Education / professional qualifications
• ICA or Guernsey Offshore Certificate preferable, however, experience in fund administration is
essential
IT/Computer skills
• Strong PC literacy
• Microsoft Office – Word / Excel (Ability to program using formulas) / Outlook / Powerpoint•
Spreadsheet skills
Benefits
Salary: £49,500 dependent on experience
Hours: 09:00 to 17:00 with 1 hour for lunch
Holiday: 25 days per annum, increasing to 26 days after 3 years, 28 days after 5 years and 30 days after 10
years’ service
Pension: 8.5%
