Job Description

Reports to the Head of Banking and Treasury

The purpose of this position is to assist with set-up of the newly created Banking and Treasury team and to help deliver and maintain a successful function that aligns with the strategic growth of the Group and ensuring that optimal arrangements are made for our clients, under the direction of the Head of Banking and Treasury.

Key responsibilities:

Treasury

  • Be part of the team that will scope, implement and manage new Foreign Exchange trading and risk management service
  • Assist with the development of the cash management function to support the growing needs of the business
  • Lead on internal communications to promote new Banking and Treasury function
  • Keep up to date on external macro factors impacting the Treasury marketplace including new systems, banks and third-party providers, changing appetites to product/service offerings and regulatory developments

Relationship Management

  • Helping to manage the strategic banking relationships across our jurisdictions identifying opportunities for optimising yield and margin reduction
  • Assist with sourcing of new relationships to fill gaps that exist or may appear in our market and expanding the options available to us

Systems and Automation

  • Assist with the review of the suite of systems and services
  • Continuous process improvement to drive service delivery

Skills, knowledge, expertise:

  • Proven experience in a treasury role in a similar industry with a relevant professional qualification
  • Excellent relationship builder. You build lasting relationships with colleagues, clients and intermediaries alike
  • Understanding of technical treasury solutions that are available in the marketplace for service providers and how these can drive exceptional client service, excellent user experience and deliver operational efficiencies
  • Service delivery mindset and the skills and desire to deliver exceptional client service on a big scale
  • Ability and drive to work independently
  • Solution-orientated critical thinking
  • You use strong organisational abilities to meet deadlines, organise, prioritise and allocate resources effortlessly
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving capabilities
Salary: €70,000 Per Year
