Job Description

Reporting to Trust Manager

Job Purpose To administer a portfolio of Trust and Company structures.

Accountabilities:

• Responsibility for all aspects of day to day Trust and Company administration for a portfolio of clients

• Direct client and intermediary contact (written and verbal)

• Maintenance of Trust and Company Accounts

• Production of Minutes

• Building and maintaining relationships with key clients, introducers and intermediaries

• Carrying out administration tasks to assigned deadlines

Skills/Competencies

Skills required to undertake the role

• Ability to produce quality work to strict deadlines

• Ability to consider tax and legal implications of transactions

• Technical knowledge of complex fiduciary structures

• Demonstrable robust communication skills

• Be driven and highly motivated to progress

Competencies

• Accurately complete detailed technical work

• Self motivated with a structured approach to work

• Identify and analyse problems by interpreting data available

• A team player with ability to communicate with all levels

Knowledge and expertise required to undertake the role

Essential

• Good understanding of Trustee and Director duties and responsibilities

• Excellent working knowledge of Fiduciary Structures

• Working knowledge of Trust and Company Law

Desirable

• UK Tax awareness

• Understanding of the IOM regulatory regime

Experience and qualifications

Essential

• Demonstrable TCSP industry experience in a similar role

• GCSEs or equivalent at Grade B or above (including Mathematics and English Language)

• Hold a relevant qualification, ie STEP, Governance Institute (ICSA) or equivalent

Salary: £35,000 to 39,000 Per Year
