Job Description

An enthusiastic qualified or part-qualified accountant to provide assistance and support to the fiduciaries department.  

Duties include but are not limited to the following: 

  • Preparing/reviewing UK corporation tax returns for companies and trusts including disposal of land/property
  • Reviewing client base to ensure TRS requirements are met
  • Reviewing client portfolios on 10 year anniversaries/exit charges
  • Preparing tax pool information for Trusts
  • Reviewing IOM tax returns
  • Reviewing ATED returns
  • Ability to highlight potential tax issues on live transactions in a timely manner
  • Organisation of client tax deadlines
  • Ensuring the board of directors are aware of tax issues that could affect the business and/or clients

Reporting To:

Fiduciaries Department

Qualifications Required:

Qualified ACA/ACCA, qualified by experience or part qualified will be considered

Experience:

At least 3 to 4 years of accounting/audit and experience working in UK taxation of offshore structures

Training:

External and internal training will be provided and encouraged to complete ACCA or ACA qualification

Salary: £45,401 to 47,000 Per Year
