A Personal Tax Assistant Manager is required for a Top 50 firm in London on a permanent basis, working with an established team and client base!

A Top 50 Accounting Practice are recruiting for a Personal Tax Assistant Manager on a permanent basis, working with an established Private Client team and a varied client base with particular focus on Owner Managed Businesses.

The role and responsibilities:

In this Private client tax assistant manager you will provide both complex compliance and ad hoc advisory work, you will ideally have demonstrable experience working with OMB’s and have private client experience.

  • You will manage a portfolio of clients; mostly within the Owner Managed business space
  • Lead a small team and review team members’ work
  • Undertake technical research and assist on consultancy projects
  • Prepare and generate Tax Returns and associated tax computations
  • Identify tax planning opportunities for your clients and within the department

Ideally you will be CTA, ATT or ACCA qualified with demonstrable experience in the above areas of Personal Tax. You may also have experience with the Tax software CCH.

Personal Tax Manager

Morgan McKinley is supporting a leading advisory firm in their recruitment for a Private client tax advisory manager on a permanent basis, providing an excellent platform to provide advisory services

Morgan McKinley are supporting a specialist Accounting Practice known for their advisory work in their recruitment for a Personal Tax Manager or Senior Manager on a permanent basis.

The role and responsibilities:

Working with a team of over 150 and with over 10 Partners, you will support the Private client tax division and provide leading technical and advisory support to your client base.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing all aspects of their allocated client portfolio; including the planning, the execution of the work, drafting of correspondence and billing
  • Managing all aspects of the tax affairs of those clients
  • Providing ad hoc/planning advice to clients on tax matters
  • Preparation of tax returns and related working papers.
  • Managing correspondence with HMRC

Ideally you will have demonstrable experience in personal and trust tax, including technical knowledge of domicile and residence issues, strong experience of offshore trusts and structures. You will be CTA, ACA or ATT qualified.

Finance Manager

Morgan McKinley are currently working with an exciting Bristol based business who are looking for an experienced interim finance manager to join them for 6 months

This role is an exciting interim opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager, the role will be supporting to the Finance Director and wider finance team through year end. This role will be for around 6 months with the possibility of extension.

Key responsibilities

  • Management & financial accounts preparation
  • Review of accruals, prepayments and journals
  • Analysis of data for MI
  • Review of month and year end accounts
  • Assisting with management of the finance team
  • Business partnering with both finance and non-finance staff
  • Forecasting and re-forecasting
  • Budget review and adjustment

  • Based in Bristol – homeworking available
  • On site parking whilst in the office
  • 6 month interim role
  • From £200 per day
